Hotel Harrington, the oldest continuously operating hotel in the city, stands at the corner of 11th & E Streets, NW in Northwest, home to many major landmarks, including Smithsonian museums and the White House. The property is 450 metres from the Metro Center station, providing easy Metro access to the DC area, and guests can board the 'Orange' train heading towards the 'New Carrollton' station. Nearby attractions include the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History (0.5 miles) and the National Museum of African American History and Culture (0.5 miles). This 3-star hotel near the airport offers free on-site parking and is a short 10-minute walk from the Smithsonian Museums of American Art and Natural History.
